BIC LAUNCHES INNOVATIVE ART GALLERY IN THE METAVERSE, CELEBRATING AFRICAN TALENT.

In a groundbreaking move, BIC has announced the launch of its first-ever art gallery in the Metaverse in Africa, as an extension of its Art Master Africa competition. This initiative aims to empower youth by promoting creativity and self-expression through art using the iconic BIC ballpoint pen.
The Art Master Africa Metaverse gallery features artworks from talented artists across Southern, Eastern, and West Africa. Visitors can immerse themselves in a virtual showcase of creativity and purchase physical versions of exhibited artwork, supporting emerging talents in the region.
Greg Alibaux, BIC's Marketing Director for the Middle East and Africa, expressed excitement about the project, highlighting the importance of self-expression and the remarkable talent emerging from Africa. The gallery combines creativity, technology, and innovation to bring African artwork to life in a unique and captivating way.
This year's collection features works by renowned artists such as Griffin Lundi, Maiku Fred, Gayi Eric, and Stanley Were, showcasing the diversity and richness of African artistry. The Art Master Africa competition, now in its sixth edition, continues to inspire artists to create captivating artworks aligned with central themes using BIC ballpoint pens.
