In a bid to foster innovation and entrepreneurship across East Africa, Jasiri has officially launched applications for its highly anticipated Talent Investor Program Cohort 7. This initiative, designed to empower aspiring entrepreneurs from Rwanda, Ethiopia, and Kenya, aims to catalyze groundbreaking ventures that address pressing societal needs and create sustainable impact.

Jasiri, known for its commitment to identifying and leveraging untapped market opportunities, offers selected fellows an extensive support system. From ideation to execution, participants receive comprehensive guidance, including funding, coaching, and strategic advisory services. This holistic approach aims to mitigate common barriers to entrepreneurial success and nurture the development of high-impact startups.

Since its inception in 2021, Jasiri has successfully incubated 189 fellows across five cohorts, resulting in the establishment of 79 ventures spanning diverse industries. These enterprises have collectively generated over 1,100 jobs within the Eastern Africa ecosystem and positively impacted more than 7,000 lives, underscoring the program's transformative potential.

"We are thrilled to announce the opening of applications for Cohort 7 of the Jasiri Talent Investor Program," said a spokesperson for Jasiri. "This program is a unique opportunity for driven entrepreneurs to realize their vision, supported by a robust network of mentors, experts, and fellow innovators."

The application period runs from July 17 to October 17, 2024, welcoming individuals who are committed to pursuing entrepreneurship full-time and ready to embark on a three-month residential intensive in Bugesera, Rwanda. Jasiri particularly encourages applications from women entrepreneurs and candidates from the diaspora, aiming to create a diverse cohort of changemakers.

Gentil Ndoba, COO of HiQ Africa and a Jasiri Fellow from the Zua Cohort, shared his endorsement of the program: "Jasiri is a prime opportunity for African aspiring entrepreneurs to innovate their next big ventures. The program equips you with the resources and knowledge to become successful entrepreneurs while also providing the opportunity to meet co-founders who share the same vision."

Interested individuals are invited to participate in virtual information sessions hosted by Jasiri to learn more about the application process and program details, as shared on Jasiri’s social media platforms.

For East African entrepreneurs with a vision for transformative change, the Jasiri Talent Investor Program represents a pivotal opportunity to turn innovative ideas into reality. As the deadline approaches, aspiring changemakers are encouraged to seize this chance to make a lasting impact on their communities and beyond.
