POPULATION SERVICES KENYA UNVEILS AMBITIOUS 2024-2028 STRATEGIC PLAN.

Nairobi, August 22, 2024 — Population Services Kenya (PS Kenya), a leading health organization, has launched its strategic plan for 2024-2028, setting a new course for enhancing health and well-being across Kenya. Announced at a high-profile event in Nairobi, the plan was introduced in the presence of key stakeholders, including Mr. Sheikh Mohammed, Director General of the National Council for Population and Development (NCPD).

The strategic plan outlines PS Kenya's vision for addressing pressing health challenges over the next five years. Building on a decade of experience and feedback from stakeholders, the plan aims to tackle critical areas such as Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH), Malaria, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Tuberculosis, HIV, Gender-Based Violence (GBV), and Global Health Security (GHS). 

Key objectives of the plan include reducing the incidence of both communicable and non-communicable diseases, improving maternal and child health outcomes, and expanding access to clean water and sanitation. The organization emphasizes the role of innovation and technology in achieving these goals, pledging to enhance data-driven decision-making and invest in new health solutions.

PS Kenya's approach also highlights the importance of collaboration with government bodies, NGOs, and local communities. By leveraging these partnerships, the organization aims to implement effective strategies and create sustainable health improvements.

The launch of the 2024-2028 strategic plan marks a significant advancement for PS Kenya in its mission to improve health outcomes nationwide. With a commitment to innovation and strong partnerships, PS Kenya is poised to make a transformative impact on the well-being of millions of Kenyans.
