COAST DJs VIE FOR TITLE IN SMIRNOFF BATTLE OF THE BEATS.

Nairobi, Kenya – November 6, 2024 – The highly anticipated Smirnoff Battle of the Beats (SBOB) competition has entered a thrilling phase as four talented DJs from the Coast Region compete for the coveted title of "Coast's Hottest DJ." Last Friday, the finalists—RATIHY THE DJ, DJ SPYKE 254, DJ DADDIE, and DJ CALZ KE—faced off in a live, high-energy battle broadcast on TV47. The event showcased their incredible skill, creativity, and unique styles, with each DJ delivering memorable performances that left the audience eagerly awaiting the final outcome.

With the live battle now behind them, the power to determine the winner has shifted to the fans. Voting is currently underway, with supporters able to cast their votes by sending an SMS with their preferred DJ's name to 21860, free of charge. The public vote will play a crucial role in crowning the winner, who will represent the Coast in the next stage of the competition.

Shiksha Arora , the host of TRIBE 47 and dancers brought the heat at the latest Smirnoff Battle of the Beats session, taking the vibe to a whole new level!

The Smirnoff Battle of the Beats is more than just a contest; it is a platform that nurtures emerging DJ talent, offering them invaluable opportunities for growth through training sessions and development. The competition began with 12 exceptional DJs from the Coast, and after several rounds, the final four remain. The winner from the Coast Region will advance to the next phase, where they will compete against other regional champions from Mt. Kenya, Lake, Rift Valley, and Nairobi for the ultimate title of Kenya’s Best DJ.


SBOB is part of Smirnoff's "We Do We" campaign, which emphasizes the power of unity, diversity, and shared experiences. The campaign celebrates the collective spirit and creativity that emerge when communities come together. As the competition progresses, the excitement builds, and fans are encouraged to continue supporting their favourite DJs in this high-stakes battle for supremacy.
