Over 100 companies and individuals from 18 countries gathered for the prestigious event, organized by Jubilant Stewards of Africa.
In his opening speech, Jared Oundo, Executive Director at Jubilant Stewards of Africa, highlighted the significance of the event, which not only acknowledges business success but also recognizes those whose efforts go beyond profit to benefit society. "This ceremony is a testament to the transformative power of industry leaders who are shaping the future with integrity, passion, and commitment," said Oundo.
The awards, judged using the rigorous Organizational Performance Index (OPI), focus on both operational excellence and the ability to create meaningful societal impact. Other winners included Myspace Properties for real estate, Trinity Transporters for logistics, and Robisearch in technology. Notable personalities, such as Dr. Vaibhav Pednekar and Ms. Caroline Njuguna, were also celebrated for their contributions to various sectors.
Zelipher Wairimu, Sales Administrator at Kevian Kenya, expressed his pride in receiving the award, calling it a testament to the company's dedication to quality and innovation. "Being recognized among the industry leaders is both humbling and inspiring," said Wairimu.
The event also served as a platform for networking and thought-provoking discussions, with participation from government officials, entrepreneurs, and media representatives. Dr. Ekra Ndungu, Chairperson of the Kenya National Association of Private Colleges (KENAPCO), praised the awardees' commitment to excellence, noting that every recipient embodies perseverance and dedication to their communities.
As the awards concluded, there was palpable anticipation for future editions, with Jubilant Stewards of Africa announcing plans for additional events in South Africa, Kenya, and Dubai/UK over the next year. The Elite Brands Awards continue to serve as a beacon of innovation, leadership, and corporate responsibility across the African continent.
