The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have announced a series of battlefield victories in several regions across Sudan, including the strategic capture of Umm Kedada in North Darfur. According to an official statement released today, the RSF has taken control of the 24th Brigade of the 6th Infantry Division and claimed additional territorial gains in Al-Atroun and Al-Rahib deserts (North Darfur), Umm Adara (West Kordofan), and Khor Al-Dalib (South Kordofan). The statement also reported the defeat of enemy forces in Omdurman and Al-Hilba in White Nile State.
The RSF hailed these developments as a testament to the determination and resilience of their fighters, affirming their commitment to ending the war in favor of the Sudanese people and establishing a new era of freedom, peace, and justice.
Amidst these reported gains, the RSF also accused Islamic Movement-aligned media and satellite channels of spreading false information and rumors in an attempt to manufacture illusory victories on behalf of Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) affiliates, referred to in the statement as "Daesh".
The RSF urged the public to rely solely on official RSF communication platforms for battlefield updates and warned its troops to act firmly against individuals spreading misinformation. Field commanders have been instructed to report any incidents that could harm troop morale or unity.
“We are confident that rumors will not shake your resolve or weaken your determination to liberate the entire country from the corrupt elite and build a new Sudan based on fairness and equality for all,” the statement concluded.
The RSF reiterated its commitment to the Sudanese people and paid tribute to its fallen soldiers.
