RAPID SUPPORT FORCES CONDEMN MASSACRE IN ALUBA, ACCUSE ARMY AND ISLAMIST MILITIAS OF ETHNIC CLEANSING.

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have strongly condemned what they described as a brutal massacre committed on the morning of Sunday, April 13, 2025, in the village of Aluba, south of El-Obeid. The RSF accused the Sudanese Army and extremist Islamic militias of perpetrating a coordinated attack that targeted members of the Hawazma tribe, calling it a full-fledged act of genocide.

In a strongly worded press statement, the RSF claimed that the massacre, which involved the killing of unarmed civilians including entire families—women, the elderly, and children—was not a random act of violence but a systematic operation. According to the RSF, the attack was carried out with military precision, under political cover and with deafening official silence, pointing to an ongoing campaign of ethnic cleansing in Sudan.

“The blood of innocent civilians was spilled simply because of their tribal and geographic identity,” the statement read. “This atrocity is a continuation of a dangerous strategy aimed at dismantling the social fabric of the country through ethnic killings and tribal conflict.”

The RSF placed full blame for the Aluba massacre on General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and the allied militias, labeling it a war crime and a crime against humanity that should not go unpunished.

Expressing unwavering solidarity with the Hawazma community and all victims of systemic violence, the RSF called on Sudanese society to unite against what they see as an orchestrated plan to divide the nation through civil strife.

The group also urged the international community and human rights organizations to break their silence and address the humanitarian crisis in Sudan, condemning what they described as a “suspicious silence and double standards” in global responses.

In closing, the RSF reaffirmed its commitment to justice, freedom, and human dignity, vowing to stand against all perpetrators of violence regardless of their identity or position.

“Mercy and forgiveness to our righteous martyrs,” the statement concluded, signed by the official spokesperson of the Rapid Support Forces.
