RSF SLAMS ‘FABRICATED PROPAGANDA ’ OVER NYALA BOMBING CLAIMS, DENIES FOREIGN FIGHTER RECRUITMENT.

Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have lashed out at what they call a “coordinated smear campaign” accusing them of bombing Nyala Airport and harboring foreign fighters, branding the reports “pure fiction” aimed at masking battlefield defeats suffered by their rivals.
The allegations — widely circulated on satellite TV and social media accounts linked to the former Islamist-led regime — claimed Colombian mercenaries were among those killed in alleged Sudanese Armed Forces airstrikes on Nyala and El Fasher. The RSF dismissed the claims as “part of the filthy media warfare” used to distract from “heavy losses in equipment and manpower” on the Kordofan front.
Insisting Nyala is “impenetrable,” the RSF said its air defenses have repelled every attack attempt, destroying drones and warplanes, including Iranian-made models and Turkish Bayraktar Akinci aircraft. The group warned any hostile aircraft entering Nyala’s skies would face “immediate and decisive destruction.”
On accusations of recruiting foreign fighters, the RSF countered that its ranks are made up entirely of Sudanese volunteers “fueled by decades of injustice and marginalization.” It accused its enemies of hypocrisy, alleging they rely on foreign militias now deployed in Port Sudan, Wadi Sayidna, and other government-held areas.
Vowing to protect Nyala’s “bustling markets and safe evenings,” the RSF promised further modernization of its air defenses and warned that those spreading lies would face “heavy rains” that would “drown their military and economic power centers.”
The group urged global media to verify reports directly with RSF sources and avoid what it called “manufactured narratives designed to mislead the public and distort the truth on the ground.”
