SUDAN FOUNDING COALITION CLAIMS RESPONSIBILITY FOR AIRSTRIKES ON MILITARY TARGETS IN KHARTOUM AND DARFUR.

Khartoum, Sept. 9, 2025.

The Sudan Founding Coalition (Tasis) announced that its air force carried out a series of precision airstrikes on Tuesday targeting military positions in Khartoum, Omdurman, and several other cities.
In a statement, the coalition said the strikes were a direct response to what it described as “criminal attacks” on hospitals, civilian facilities, and residential areas in Darfur, Kordofan, and Nyala.

The coalition emphasized that the operations were “accurate and successful,” targeting locations of military and logistical significance that contribute to sustaining the enemy’s war effort. Tasis said the strikes were conducted in line with its principles and commitment to confronting what it labeled as “terrorist militias” of the Islamic Movement and the Muslim Brotherhood, accusing them of transforming the army into “a tool of repression and intimidation against the people.”

Reaffirming its stance, the coalition declared that its forces would continue to strike with “an iron hand” against those who threaten the safety and dignity of Sudanese citizens, pledging not to retreat until it achieves its objectives of dismantling terrorist strongholds and completing the project of building a free Sudan founded on peace and justice.
