SUDAN PRIME MINISTER ANNOUNCES KEY CABINET APPOINTMENTS.

Sudan’s Prime Minister Mohamed Hassan Osman Al-Taishi has announced new cabinet appointments as part of efforts to strengthen the transitional government.
In a decision issued on Monday under the provisions of Article 73 of the Transitional Constitution of Sudan (2025), the Prime Minister appointed three ministers to critical portfolios.
Amar Amoun Deldoum has been named Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Suleiman Sandal Haggar will serve as Minister of Interior, and Alaaeldin Awad Mohamed has been appointed Minister of Health.
The Prime Minister’s office emphasized that the appointments are aimed at consolidating governance and ensuring the smooth functioning of state institutions during the transitional period. The decision also directed all state bodies and competent authorities to take the necessary measures to implement the appointments without delay.
The new ministers are expected to play a central role in addressing Sudan’s domestic and foreign policy challenges, bolstering internal security, and advancing reforms in the healthcare sector.
