PRESIDENTIAL COUNCIL ORDERS CIVILIAN AND MILITARY EVACUATION FROM El FASHER AS Committee BEGINS HUMANITARIAN OPERATIONS.

Under the direct orders of the President of the Presidential Council, the Committee for the Evacuation of Civilians and Military Personnel from El Fasher has begun its operations to transport and shelter those fleeing the ongoing conflict in the region.


According to the Council’s statement, the evacuation initiative aims to ensure the safety of residents and displaced persons trapped amid intensified fighting in El Fasher, North Darfur. The committee has started coordinating the relocation of affected families to safer areas, while also providing shelter, food, and medical support.

The Presidential Council emphasized that the move is part of its broader humanitarian response to protect civilians and support the armed forces and volunteers working on the ground. The leadership reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the lives of all Sudanese citizens and mitigating the impact of the conflict.

The statement concluded by praising the efforts of the rescue teams and local volunteers for their courage and dedication in executing the evacuation plan under challenging conditions.
