The President of Sudan’s Presidential Council is set to deliver an important address to the Sudanese people this evening, according to an official announcement from the Council.
In a brief statement released on Monday, the Council confirmed that the speech—described as a “significant address to the nation”—will be broadcast to all citizens. While the statement did not specify the exact topic of the address, it comes at a time of heightened political and security developments in the country.

Observers expect the President’s message to touch on ongoing national efforts to restore stability, promote dialogue among warring factions, and reaffirm the Council’s commitment to democratic transition and peace.

The Presidential Council has recently taken a more visible role in national reconciliation efforts amid growing calls from civil and political groups for a unified roadmap to end the conflict and rebuild state institutions.

Details of the address, including key points and directives, are expected to be released shortly after its broadcast.
