RSF CAPTURES STRATEGIC SIXTH DIVISION BASE IN El FASHER, DECLARES MAJOR VICTORY OVER ISLAMIST FORCES.

El Fasher, North Darfur – October 26, 2025

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) announced on Sunday that they have taken full control of the strategic Sixth Infantry Division headquarters in the city of El Fasher, North Darfur, marking what they described as a “historic victory” in their ongoing campaign against the “Islamic Movement Army and its allied mercenary groups.”
In a statement released this morning, the RSF said its fighters had “crushed the remaining strongholds” of the Islamist forces after fierce battles that resulted in heavy losses for the opposing side, including “thousands of casualties and the destruction of major military equipment.” The RSF added that its forces have now “secured complete control over the military division and all its assets.”

According to the statement, the operation represents a turning point in the war for control of Darfur and Sudan at large. The RSF credited the victory to “the steadfastness of its fighters and the support of marginalized communities across Darfur and other regions who stand with the project of change and national liberation.”

“This victory paves the way for the emergence of a new Sudan — one founded on freedom, peace, and justice — and brings an end to the era of oppression and corruption,” the statement read.

The RSF further pledged to work closely with the Tasis (Establishment) Government to ensure “full protection for civilians, facilitate the return of displaced persons to their homes, and provide essential humanitarian assistance.”

The statement concluded by dedicating the victory to “the martyrs and the free people of Sudan,” reaffirming the RSF’s commitment to continue its “liberation campaign until the entire nation is free from the tools of tyranny and the remnants of the Islamic Movement.”

GENERAL PETROLEUM GMBH FACES CRIMINAL Charges OVER FAKE GM CERTIFICATION AND SUBSTANDARD OIL PRODUCTS.
