RSF CONDEMNS DRONE STRIKE THAT KILLED DOZENS IN NORTH KORDOFAN, CALLS FOR INTERNATIONAL INVESTIGATION.

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have accused the Sudanese army, which they referred to as the “Islamic Movement’s terrorist army,” of carrying out a deadly drone attack on Friday targeting civilians in North Kordofan State.
According to a statement released by the RSF, the drone strike hit the Mazroub area — under RSF control — and resulted in the deaths of dozens of civilians, including prominent community leaders, tribal elders, and the chief of the Majaneen tribe.

The RSF described the attack as a “massacre” and condemned it as part of what they called a broader campaign of revenge and genocide being waged by the army’s leadership in Port Sudan against civilian communities in Darfur and Kordofan.

> “The deliberate targeting of civilians is a continuation of the systematic crimes committed by the terrorist army,” the statement read. “We mourn our martyrs and strongly denounce this heinous aggression.”

The RSF urged the international community, regional organizations, and human rights bodies to condemn the attacks and classify them as war crimes and grave violations of international humanitarian law, including the Geneva Conventions.

The group reiterated its commitment to defending what it termed the “battle for democracy” and honoring those who lost their lives in the struggle.
