RSF FORCES CAPTURE UM DAM HAJ AHMED, EXTEND CONTROL ACROSS NORTH KORDOFAN.

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have announced a major new military victory after capturing Um Dam Haj Ahmed locality in North Kordofan State, marking another milestone in their ongoing campaign against what they describe as the “terrorist Islamic Movement army and its allied militias.”
According to a statement released by the RSF on Monday, the operation comes just hours after the liberation of Al-Fashir in North Darfur and Bara in North Kordofan, signaling rapid territorial gains and what the group called the “accelerating collapse” of the opposing forces.
The RSF said its troops “inflicted a humiliating defeat” on the Islamic Movement’s army and its militias, taking full control of Um Dam Haj Ahmed and seizing large quantities of military equipment, weapons, and dozens of combat vehicles. The statement reported heavy casualties among enemy ranks, while remaining forces were said to have fled the area.
“The heroes of our forces continue to advance from all directions toward the last strongholds of terrorism,” the statement read, adding that these victories represent “a crucial step toward the complete liberation of the homeland and the dawn of a new Sudan built on freedom, justice, and peace.”
The RSF concluded its statement by paying tribute to its fallen soldiers, describing them as “martyrs of honor and sacrifice,” and reaffirmed its commitment to protecting civilians and upholding national unity.
