SUDANESE POLITICAL ALLIANCE WARNS AGAINST MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD PROTEST CALLS.

The Sudan Founding Alliance (TASIS) has issued a strongly worded statement warning Sudanese citizens against responding to protest calls made by the Muslim Brotherhood, accusing the group of exploiting the country’s ongoing humanitarian crisis for political gain.
In the press release issued Wednesday, the alliance condemned what it described as “misleading, paid-for demonstrations” being organized for Saturday, December 13. The group alleged that the Muslim Brotherhood and its “defeated military wing” were attempting to manufacture false scenes of public support despite widespread suffering caused by the war that erupted on April 15.
More than 15 million Sudanese have been displaced internally or forced to flee the country since the conflict began, according to the alliance. TASIS claims the Brotherhood is taking advantage of this hardship by using vulnerable civilians as “props” in staged public gatherings.
“This is not merely a call for crowds,” the statement read. “It is a systematic effort to manipulate public awareness and obscure the true nature of the crisis by using people as tools to project a reality that does not exist.”
The alliance urged the public to remain vigilant, verify information, and avoid being drawn into demonstrations it described as unsafe and deceptive. It warned that participation in such gatherings could later be misrepresented as genuine political support or used to shift attention away from the severe impact of the ongoing war.
“Protecting one’s own life comes before anything else,” the group noted, cautioning that unsecure public gatherings could expose participants to unnecessary risks. It emphasized that Sudan’s “true public voice” is one that calls for peace and rejects war, not one shaped by “manipulation or exploitation.”
The statement, signed by TASIS spokesperson Dr. Alaa Eldeen Awad Nugud, concluded with a reaffirmation of the alliance’s commitment to the revolutionary path.
“The revolution continues, and victory is certain,” it said.
