The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has secured a sweeping victory in the by-elections held on 26 February 2026, winning all contested seats in what the party described as a strong endorsement of its development agenda.
In a statement issued following the announcement of results, UDA thanked Kenyans who turned out to vote, terming the outcome a decisive show of confidence in the party’s leadership and manifesto.

Hon. Tubi Mohamed Tubi was declared the winner of the Isiolo South Parliamentary seat. The party also clinched victories in three ward contests: Hon. Eliphas Kainanga in West Kabras, Hon. Duncan Muratia Nyaga in Evurore, and Hon. Peterson Njeru Njiru in Muminji.

According to the party, the results reflect growing public support for its socio-economic transformation agenda and its commitment to inclusive development. UDA stated that the victories signal voter preference for policy-driven leadership focused on economic growth, service delivery, and community empowerment.

The party further said the outcome demonstrates confidence in the implementation of its manifesto, commonly referred to as “The Plan,” which it says aims to accelerate national development and improve livelihoods.

UDA emphasized that it remains focused on delivering its promises and will continue engaging citizens on its development programs. The party also reiterated its call for issue-based politics and constructive democratic engagement.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) oversaw the by-elections across the affected constituencies and wards.

UDA concluded by thanking voters in Isiolo South, West Kabras, Evurore, and Muminji for their participation and support, pledging continued service to the electorate
